Do my crash files leave my Mac?

No. Symbolication happens entirely on your device. Your crash files and symbol files are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What do I need to symbolicate a crash?

You’ll need the crash report along with the matching symbol files (dSYMs) for the build that produced it. Unmangle matches them up for you.

Which platforms are supported?

All Apple platforms are supported, including iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Unmangle performs its core work without an internet connection.
